Summer is here and what a better way to kick it off than with a backyard camp party! We have gathered some fun party ideas together including a yummy campout trail mix, activity for the kids and some easy décor.
Create Your Own Campout
This look was so fun to pull together! All you need is a tent, some colorful kids chairs and maybe a touch of buffalo check! We used a play tent that we both have but you could also get out your real tent for a backyard party. This camp theme is so great because you can use it for a Little Explorer Birthday Party or Baby Shower or it can be as simple as a night in the backyard with friends.
Campfire Trail Mix Recipe
Either we created an awesome trail mix recipe or we just wanted to include all the yummy things and couldn't decide what to leave out. We picked up all of these ingredients from Schnucks Market. For under $12 we put this trail mix station together which would be really cute for any shower or birthday party. Set some bags nearby and it could even be the favor for your guest to take home!

- Marshmallows
- Chocolate Chips
- Butterscotch Chips
- Gummi Bears
Mix it all together using the ingredients above or just the ones your kids like and enjoy!
Nature Scavenger Hunt Printable
It's always a good idea at any party to have an activity to keep the kids busy, so the adults can hang out too! :) This nature scavenger hunt is so easy, just print it off and the kids will love trying to find everything. This would also be great to beat the boredom on a summer day at home.
